Imitation of an ancient Hebrew coin. These are mass-produced for use in modern church ceremonies.

Hello and welcome.

Nalaberong is correct; it's one of a class of objects known as "false shekels". The design has altered considerably from what the original ancient Jewish coins looked like.

These articles on false shekels on the American Israel Numismatic Association website are informative about what these objects have historically been used for.
