I found this quarter, it is not silver but the edges look like the Canadian quarter. It is a 2005 State Quarter P-mint. I took a silver one to show the difference.

Give it the tissue test I highly doubt it is silver but ya never know could be plated.. Basically lay a piece of tissue over the two coins and see if they both shine through equally

Looks like one of the TV hucksters coins that were plated in platinum. Worth a quarter. If you take a razor blade to the inside reeding area in the rim, when you scratch it, you will see copper. Do this over a device like the "A" in America so you can find it easier when you check.

I do not have the coin in hand but I will try it when I get the chance. I just don't see any copper on the edges.
