I'm working on a project where I'm making my own custom US small cent type album. I'm planning on labeling two blank Dansco small cent pages.

I am looking to get detailed in my labeling and for some coins using 2-3 lines. For example

1864 Indian Head
Bronze Composition
No 'L' on Ribbon

OR

1918-D
V.D.B Returns

Most coins 2 lines should be plenty, but there might be a couple where I'd want to use 3 lines if it was available. I am concerned however about finding something that will print labels small enough to fit nicely in Dansco's and be able to control font sizes -- again even better if I could set the font independently on each line if that's possible.

What are you guys using? Do you know of any label makers that would work well for what I'm doing but don't get too expensive?

Thanks.

P.S. I plan on posting this album on CCF once I get it nearly completed. I'm planning on appx. 64 slots for 1857 to current cents showing all major design, mint, type and variety changes over the years.

Rest in Peace

I remember reading this a while back. It may be what you're looking for.

Thanks for the link. In that thread I saw someone using clear plastic transparancies. Those look really nice and would allow me to control the font however I'd like. Plus I don't have to purchase a label maker then; just a few sheets of transparency film.
