The light brown toning around the periphery tends to indicate a coin recovering from a previous cleaning; that's why you're hearing such opinions. Even as a cleaned coin, though, it's still a rather pricey bit of silver whose value probably approaches $150 or better depending on the degree of remaining detail. Report this Post to the Staff
