There's about $340 worth of gold in these things, but as with all Coca-Cola collectables, it's definitely worth more than bullion value to a Coke collector. There's actually two on ebay right now; one with a BIN of $600 and one auction with a starting bid of $450. There are six earlier sales on ebay; the typical going rate seems to be $400-$450. Whoever bought the one that sold for $200 got a steal.

A timely reminder that when gold was pegged at $35 an ounce different entities issued gold
trinkets. Promotional items and fantasy micro coins.
How times have changed.
And YES, Coca Cola items are very collectible if in pristine condition.
The coin sounds collectible no matter the condition.

Edited to add:
As Coca Cola is known all over the world the collector base
would be substantially larger than say, for an item from an
Australian Football League.
