Hi I'm new to coin collecting and I found a 1966 20 cent in change. Can someone tell me if this is a genuine wavy baseline 20. Hope the image comes out OK.

Wavy-20-Cent?

I've enlarged the image if it helps. Thanks

Thanks for the reply Matt_J. I've only been collecting for a couple of months. At first I bought anything on ebay but now I'm just trying to collect decimal coins. I even went to the bank and got $100 worth of change to look through.

Thats an extremely lucky find so short into your collecting. Well done! Hold onto that one. It took me many many thousands of dollars of 20c to find one.

Thanks for the replies, I was very excited when I found it and I think I'm hooked now. Just have to reign in my spending on ebay though.

This is a great and rear find there! Very well done!

I've noodled $9,000 worth of 20c coins and gave up without finding one, just to give you an idea how rare they are
