I have seen others do threads like this and my 7070 came yesterday so I figured "why not" Some of the empty slots I do have coins for (I just have not found them yet) so I will be updating my progress as I go. As far as the album, it is the oldest 7070 I have seen. Although the gold is faded, I believe the copyright date is 1965. I also find it quite odd that there is no place for a type 1 SLQ. Does anyone know why this is? Also I am looking for what coins I should get next. I am really not looking to upgrade right now, but I will get to it.

Now for the pics...

Cool! I suppose you won't be able to fill in the Bics, but those aren't the most fun of the set!
Look forward to watching the upgrading process of lower-grade coins and the filling in of more holes, but I think this should be moved to the U.S. classic coins forum.

I guess it could be moved to the classic coin section. I have also found a BU 1943-S steel that I have added.

Wow, your 7070 is probably the oldest one I have seen.

It is also missing the second Standing Liberty hole (to accommodate both varieties).

What you have so far is very nice!

I will move this to the Classic forum.

The journey of the 7070 starts with a single coin. You are off to a great start!

I will be updating my progress as I go. I will also be putting several of these up for grading in the next few days.

I like how the SLQ slot says "1916-1932"

That book is quite the oddity with how old it is. Still, great looking start to your 7070! Can't wait to see more.
