If the price was half way reasonable I might consider it, but £30 for a quarter ounce of silver bullion?

You have to laugh.

If it was £30 for a quarter-ounce chunk of the actual recovered silver bars, I'd consider it.
But a coin made out of the silver from the shipwreck? It really means just silver to me. You can buy a good ounce of silver and have some money left over for £30.
