Just received back the below 1875 25C from PCGS. The Coin received a details grade for Repaired.

Would someone with more experience then I please point out where the coin has been repaired? I want to say Liberty's right arm due to the color difference, but I don't see any signs of actual manipulation.

Thanks in advance for the continuing education.

It looks like the area near Liberty's right arm and the area from her left arm going down to her legs is the area that was repaired. Don't take my word for it though, not 100% sure.

I would also guess Liberty's right arm but can't be sure.

Thanks j-win and zxcccxz.

Does it look more like smoothing or engraving? I am trying to improve my recognition of these types of alterations.

That's a pretty good repair job but nonetheless, repaired.
