Looks like a shooting medal to me. I'll see about showing one of mine today.

Trouble with this type of medal is that the crossed rifles are ubiquitous. Many of us have gone quietly mad before now trying to identify exactly which firearm is represented on the medal we're trying to date.
My advice is:
Back away from the gun now. Keep your hands where we can see them. Do not, repeat not, Google.
