G'day,
Would these three penny's grade aEF to aUNC? I think I am still being over optimistic with my grading!

There is description of how to grade British coins here, and it would also apply to Aus, Can, etc. http://www.mybrit.com/info/Grading.html

It is hard to tell exactly from a photo, but I would guess vf.

First of all, all the obverses are weakly struck.
Left hand side looking at the screen has virtually no wear to my eyes so it would be unc with a very weak obverse.
The middle coin is very weak on both sides especially in the legends so to me it looks like a pressure adjustment strike.
( at the start of a run they strike coins & adjust the strike pressure until they have it right) VF/EF .
Right hand coin, once again very weak obverse,a bit of wear VF/gVF.

VF sounds right to me. But the weak strike of these always throw me off...
