What do you think about the toning on this half? I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Must. Have.
Hopefully no one purchases it before I get the money...

XF-45++ It is close to being AU but I'm not sure if it quite makes it. Looks like a nice coin.

Very well struck, none of the usual reverse weakness that is present with many of these. I would put it at XF-40.

Very nice coin. I know who's selling this but won't mention here for obvious reasons. I've been very happy with all of the coins I've purchased from them in the past. Hope you get it. They might hold it for you depending on how long it would be.

I think this the Doubled date variety WB-102...however, since it is late here take my attribution with a grain of salt.

I see the doubled you're talking about, Meadow.

Thanks for not revealing it, Tbone

It is on ebay too so you might want to call the dealer to get it placed on hold for you.

I'd like more luster on an AU50. Interesting RPD though.

I see it on ebay and was thinking about helping you out and grabbing it for you and sending when you have money.. but I think I am just a bit short. I'll see where I am in a few days but whats your time frame?

What's the rush? It's been on the bay for nearly two months now.

Same coin is $25 cheaper on Gary Adkins website and they take offers too. I'm sure they'd go $275 if you offered it. They are nice people to work with.

You have to get it in front of the right bidder, but WB-102 (I agree with the attribution) will bring a decent premium in AU. It's an underrated conditional rarity in higher grade, and the rarest variety for the year.

I'd love to have that one in my collection.

It's got 10 watchers so far ... a beauty! Given so much interest, I'd "pull the trigger" on it, Cruisinfusion, even if you think it's a bit over-priced or over-graded. Otherwise, it'll forever remain "the one that got away." This is one of the "ya snooze, ya lose" deals.

The '6' and the '5' show the doubling.
Less so the '1' and I do not see it on the '8.'
