Thank's guy's.. yeah rupester it should be quite the interesting search. Kinda torn to open some of it but could be very valuable varieties within so I guess the risk is worth the reward. To keep it short..Thank you and it's only a very small portion of what's to come..Passed down to me from a close friend..My Personal collection is in two words "too big" already and still trying to get it somewhat organized but I buy coins faster than I can manage to go through but hopefully the trinocular helps tremendously with that task

I will do for sure..I'm still a newbie to varieties but have learned a lot here and am grateful for all the great information to be had on this site and most of all the members are what really makes this site shine IMO.. Everyone is so helpful here and is a pleasure to be part of...I will be using this thread for confirmed updates that I find but you might see me around asking stupid questions here and there before posting the confirmed finds here.. Thanks for checking out the thread. Quote: Great googly moogly!

Please, please keep us posted because this haul looks aweseome!! And no but the bird does help me open the rolls from the bank I consistently CRH weekly...saves a lot of time and he's a good boy and opens them from the ends and drags them aside as he completes them and does both sides for me..Keeps him busy and helps me..it's a win win and of course he gets treats while doing his work

Quote: it's a win win and of course he gets treats while doing his work That is one fortunate bird. I'm sure most of us here would happily watch you unwrap those treasures. Have fun.

Yes he is...He can be a handful at times though, believe me.
As soon as I can get camera setup figured out I will be posting tons of pics but that's currently work in progress with the help of sSuperDdave as soon as all of the equipment arrives and I can do some tinkering to get some basic knowledge of photographing coins...Till then I will do my best.

Thank goodness you have Lucky to keep you company until then! Camera work is tricky for coins. Good luck.

Thanks Solotime. Actually my friend didn't pass away. It was left to him and he has absolutely no interest whatsoever and knows I am an avid collector of all coinage and some currency so I guess the best way to say it was he paid it forward. He wouldn't accept any money and just asked that I keep it in my family.I am just blown away by this and feel like I owe him my life. Never has a friend done anything that nice for me. I am planning to do something real nice for him to show my appreciation. Quote: Great set of coins!
But sorry to hear your friend passed away. Thanks BadtotheBone... You and me both..I am sure I will find some very nice pieces as I have checked out a few that were open and coins are in immaculate shape with no toning(still in mint cello's) which is suprising.. I'm thinking there may be some Top Pops in this hoard as well..Im hoping anyway Quote: is what I would call it. Hey Frank glad to hear from you. Yes I remember you and enjoyed our conversation that day..If you got some free time sometime we should go grab lunch or a beer sometime. Anyway nice to hear from you and yes we shall see what I find as I'm sure there will be some treasures for sure. Quote: Very very nice score chettie.
