Quote: If you want to sell any of the bank wrapped 90% stuff lemmie know Not planning on it at the moment as the friend I got it from has asked me to keep it in my family but may end up selling some of my personal collection I have gathered prior to this maybe sometime in the future but I have a ton of stuff to go through here and that's not even counting my personal collection I have collected for many years now that has to be gone through as well.. By the time I am able to sell on here( post count too low ) I should have gotten through some and may sell some stuff off. Thanks I will keep ya in mind. Quote: Wow I am still just amazed!! Most impressive! Super sorry to hear about your friend, I am sure he is happy they went somewhere close!! My word I wouldnt know where to start! Thats just awesome!!
I'm right there with ya man! May want to read my reply to solotime's post. Yes he is happy they are somewhere close and with someone who will appreciate and admire for years to come and also to be able to pass them down to my daughter who is starting to collect coins herself and is 13 but she is in and out...tough age but she has interest so I try and show her anything cool I find and get her involved with me labeling coins and searching for weird stuff on coins and explain the best I can..The more I learn here the more I can educate her and hopefully she can enjoy them as much as I do when she is older. Last thing is you took the words right out of my mouth bud.. I have no idea where to start.. Well more so no idea where I want to start Quote: I cannot see past the large quantity of Blue Ikes. I figured that might get your attention ... I'm sure I will have many questions for you Ike guys out there as I really never collected them or searched them for varieties mostly because I haven't made it to that series yet but I guess it's time for some research regarding them. Glad you like..I will post more pictures as I go along so you can enjoy. Quote: Holy Moley thats a lot picking to do Heck yes it is..Can't wait to dig in but finishing up a couple things first. Tomorrow hopefully I can get down to business.

I can see what you mean by a kid a Christmas. One thing, you can not stay hoarded up in the house. Take your time and enjoy it for every time you sit down it is like a fresh set of lottery tickets except your chances are much better.

I know exactly what this feels like. My dad split his entire collection between my brother and I. This happened in the summer of 2011, and it got me started in numismatics.

Quote:Nice set up! Let us/ME know about how that AmScope tri works out. I am Very interested in getting one my self. Will do.. I am very pleased with it so far but am still fighting with lighting to get it just right but optics and quality of scope are great IMO. I would highly recommend it for anyone searching for varieties etc that's looking for the most bang for the buck. Quote: Very nice! Looks like you have hours of fun ahead of you. I'm sure you and your brother had a blast going through it all.. Glad to have you with us I not only have this and my own personal collection prior to this but also will be handed down my grandfather's personal collection as well which consists of world, Canadian and US coins & currency but not in any rush as I have more than enough to go through already and feel overwhelmed as it is. Quote: Love that accented hair Kennedy ! Thanks Ray me too It's going out for grading sometime soon. Quote: Nice Score!! Take your time and enjoy going through it. Thanks bud I will probably see ya if your at the show in corning or maybe it was bath coming up in june I believe. Quote: I can see what you mean by a kid a Christmas. Oh believe me I won't be hoarded up in the house. The coins aren't going anywhere and will be here when I get home. My motorcycle is priority in the summertime or warmer months and I enjoy getting out for nice rides when the weather is good. I will get through stuff as time permits.. This is not a business for me and I haven't worked since 2003 due to back and neck injuries which put me on full work restriction for the rest of my life so nothing but time in my schedule. Quote: Dang, nice setup, chet! Let's see some pics from that scope! Does it have a USB out? . No usb out but does have the trinocular port so I can attach my dslr and use that for my live view to my tv and also shoot photos with it as well.. As soon as the adapter for the DSLR comes in I will be posting more pics.
