But I do find that medieval coins seem to fall between the cracks in this forum. But the ancient folks tend to be a bit more in the know about esoteric pieces such as these. This penny is a type IIIa, and the moneyer is RICARD ON DIVE, for Richard at Dublin, although the dies for these coins were all made in London, and shipped to Dublin.
