Poll Question
I received a replacement and the inner box has a minor crease as shown in the photo. Should I keep it or return it? This would be my third return. First had a dark spot on one coin. The second had two heavy creases on the card stock inside the lens. I called the mint and they said they do have sets reserved for replacement even though they are sold out. Coins are nice and I'm afraid that the replacement could be worse. I do have two others. This I'm just keeping to sell/trade later in the year.

This is why I voted, "Keep it."
Also.

A minor crease on the inner box. I thought this hobby was about collecting coins?

Yes, it's about the coins. However, if I just wanted the coins, I could get the regular silver proof set and a proof eagle for about $105. I'd also get the non silver proofs with that. So by that logic, the packaging is worth over $35. It doesn't bother me too much. I just don't want it to be an issue when I sell.

It was Philly 2012

It is not so bad as to warrant a return IMO. I would keep it.

Just out of curiosity, does the Mint cover the cost to ship back the return?

Yes, both times, but you have to mail them a shipping receipt. They will pay for insurance too. In fact, they recommend it. I didn't ask for reimbursement for the stamp to send the receipt. Figured that was going too far. They mail you a check that looks just like an income tax refund.

19 keep and 1 exchange? Perhaps I'm too picky. Here's a pic of the second return. That one had to go back.
