I've now been in numismatics long enough and gained enough knowledge to pick my favorite US silver coin design.

My vote for best design goes to.......................................................................The Standing Liberty quarter (crowd erupts in cheers and applause).

I love that whole era. My favorite is the Walking Liberty half dollar, followed by the Standing Liberty quarter, followed by the Saint Gaudens double eagle.

Have to agree on the Walking Liberty. My other favorite among coins I can actually collect is the Buffalo nickel. If we include coins I won't ever collect, the St Gaudens $20 is #1.
