it's not perfect, but it was cheap! more importantly it puts my One From Each Country collection to 275 (no duplicate "provinces" or "states") the whole collection can be viewed in my signature Edited by Wade 05/12/2014 9:18 pm

Interesting coin. What is it?
And that's a pretty serious OFEC collection!

I'm guessing French Guyana? I'm not too good with world coins, but I like this one, looks like an American colonial, or even French copper piece.

allranger, thanks! good catch!
and yes, the coin is French Guianna.
going to try to push to 300 but things are getting expensive (or boring NCLT commemeratives of which I don't really have much interest)

Congrats! Some very great variety, and some pretty unique coins. How do you display it?
I am working on this set too. I have them in 2x2s in a binder, with the missing countries labeled. Just found my 266th in a Junk 10 for a buck box at a coin shop...1972 Chad 100 Francs. I'll have to go through my extras and see if I have any countries you need, I try to pick up oddball countries for other OFeC collectors.

I looked through your list, and I think I have a country in my Birth Year Set that you're missing: Equatorial African States

Wade: I also forgot to mention, your Morocco coin is lacking a label like the rest of them.

Fuzzy yes, Equatorial African States is still on my list! the african coins can be a bit of a grey area, I use numista.com as my guide.

Nice! I am hovering at 207: missing a few big modern ones (Myanmar, North Korea, Madagascar, Namibia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Bhutan, and the ever-elusive Greenland) and a whole bunch of outdated and obsolete countries.
