Very little wear, I would say AU-53, weaker strike here, common for these.

Very nice coin!
I like it as an AU-50 and like you said the reverse probably held it back a bit.

I like it a lot tough date in greater than EF grades for sure. I'm going AU50-53 range.

Johnny. after comparing this coin to mine, yours is definitely higher than an EF-45 grade.

My 1923 S is graded EF-45 and shows more wear.

Moe, you have a beautiful SLQ for the XF45 grade!! Wow! It does show more wear, but it looks to have stronger detail than mine to start with.

The details appear nice in many areas, with more obvious wear in others. I think the reason mine grades higher is due to luster, not detail....imho
