You are looking too hard. When you do find a hub doubled example, it will jump right out at you. Then you will know that is a doubled die! There will be no question.
Keep looking...

Ya know what I think the real problem is? Everyone says that I'll know it when I see one but I've looked at tons of these on coppercoins and wexlers and mabi it's just me but I gotta tell ya some of these are not very apparent at all-I don't even see where the doubling is at all on some of these examples and that's what's got me really messed up and thinkn I may be passing up something when I toss one of these messy/sloppy coins and some MD's-think I should just stick to the easy errors-cuds,now their pretty easy! Lol

Most of pics the that site are horrible. It confuses the collector more than it helps. Most are so minor I don't even care to use the site, unless its a last resort. I use Wexler and CONECA master listing first.

As for your coin, the very first picture shows me that fireworks sort of spray on the coin, usually means the die is about dead. I instantly write off finding anything on those coins, unless there is an error that slaps me with a 2x4.

I suggest looking on ebay and finding a DDO of a particular coin you like, dimes, cents or whatever and look for a nice crisp example. Nothing beats having one in hand - but the characteristics of a DDO or DDR will change amongst the denominations. If DDO and DDR's were common, prices and collectability would be nil. Put it this way - searching coins - I probably have found 100 or so DDO's in over 80,000 coins looked at, and all mine are BU coins. Are the odds better than that looking at rolls from banks? I dunno.
In any event the DDO and DDR are a bit rare, but they can be cherry picked if you have a good source to search from. If you keep striking out, see about changing the place you get your coins from occasionally. See if it gets any better.

If it looks like MD, it probably is MD. If the die is extremely worn out, chances of finding a DDO is slim to none.

Awesome awesome info from all you guys and it kind a puts me at ease-glad to know I'm not the only one that thinks that about coppercoins examples(some of them I mean) I thought I was going crazy over here but lookn for DDO / DDR's is fairly knew to me and I just kept getn more confused-and exactly what I was thinking too coll corner,I just was teln myself I'm not buying and till I find one myself first and the same with the WAM coins but I'm throwing in the towel and agree it will help to own a nice one and have a better feel for it-would you say finding a Cud or a double die is harder? Found a nice Cud and if those are rarer then will hold out hope for DDO / DDR yet! Lol (cudsoncoins.com actually listed my '84 penny on their site #16) exciting for me anyway being new to errors
