Ok this isn't the prettiest Quarter on the block but hey when do I ever show a perfect coin I see this being a form of Strike Doubling but as I looked up the different kinds of Strike Doubling errors, I now realize I will have to dive into another aspect of Numismatics that has room for improvement.

The obverse damage would make me toss this coin back into circulation.

50 cents do I hear 50 cents LOL? I know it isn't worth anything I was just trying to figure out what kind of Strike Doubling it is. Also, this is something I was going to hunt you down on the forums and ask you. There is a doubling that I saw was (I'm assuming nicknamed) orange peel something rather. Well this coin has literally orange peel going on so what is that exactly? Is Strike Doubling common on quarters BTW?

I have no idea what your straight forward msg is...I do like the quote though! I prefer in my case. "Yesterday's weirdness is tomorrow's reason why." Hunter S. Thompson

I guess I was referring to the attractiveness of the coin. She is brutiful! Where are you seeing doubling because I do not see it?

Oh OK right on lol! Thx I like it too. On the reverse it seems to be a counter clockwise rotation. Behind the S in states is what I believe is a T. Also if you look at the arrows you can see some rotation. The coins obverse I'll have to look at more closely b/c from the pics I thought I noticed doubling but after I put it in some Verdi Care to be sure it may have been the orange stuff causing the illusion. As of right now with the gunk the easiest way to notice doubling is on the Eagles beak and looking at the lower level of coin on reverse. It is hard to tell with the interference on the coin but I decided that I'll see what is behind the tomato soup lol!

OK I just wanted to post something I thought was funny. Maybe it's because of the time or the last glass of wine but when I looked at this pic and saw how poor Washington looks like he hasn't slept in awhile and is carrying a small vomiting head around like Johnny Knoxville on M.I.B (horrible part for him let alone anyone BTW)I had to share...or maybe I'm the one who needs sleep lol!
