So I brought this up in another thread, but I thought it would be better here. I got this 2014 ASE proof from the Mint store in Philadelphia. I also picked up a 2013 LE silver proof set. I checked the LE set over, but didn't even think to check the ASE! I finally got it out and looked at it and noticed this. Looks like a die crack, possibly a cudd. It is frosted like the cameo. Anyone ever seen anything like this? Is this something that makes the coin more or less valuable? I wasn't real happy when I noticed it, but I started to realize how rare it is.

Is it indented/incuse? If so it is probably a struck through debris on the coin.

It appears to be raised, but it is hard to tell. I haven't taken it out of the case yet to get a really good look. Any tips on how to check? Sometimes it is really hard to tell without touching and I don't want to smudge the coin.

Doesn't look like a die break. Looks more like a strike through or even something just sitting on the surface of the coin.
