Hi Halfdollardan! Assuming that the coins from 1896 to 1967 are in about average circulated condition, they are, I'm afraid, the sort of coins that would be in a dealer's junk bin here in England - even quite recently I've seen huge tubs of them for 5 or 10 British pence each at coin shops. The coins from 1971 onwards are current decimal pennies that are only worth face value. The pennies from 1861 to 1891 may be more interesting - if any of them are in F to VF, they could be worth something, but there are lots of different varieties (often the varieties are only identifiable if a coin is in at least VG - F condition). So it may be worth posting a few pics of the earlier Victorian pennies and seeing if anyone can attribute them.

Personally I would keep the British pennies as a sideline - you won't get much Canadian silver in exchange for them, and they do make a nice souvenir of Britain. Of course, North American collectors wanting to get into British coins may be interested in exchanging them for their own duplicates - you never know!

if the pictures are already on a photo hosting site like photobucket, you could link those images. Or you could attach the images to a post. Just have to be aware of the file size limitations. There is a free image optimizer to help resizing them for posting.

Just use macro mode ( the one with little flower symbol) and you should be OK
