I got this coin months ago and whilst everyone agreed that it was Caracella, I couldn't find a reference for it. Legend reverse is STOBE. Victory left with palm and wreath. I can't see a globe or a wheel by her foot. The only reverse I can find with STOBE as opposed to STOBEN has a different Victory. Can anyone help? Could it be Geta?

I think it is Moushmov 6552, M AVR ANTONINVS/MVNICI STOBEN.

I can't see an "N" on the end of STOBE, that is what is throwing me!

I see what you mean, it could have been omitted by mistake, or maybe just a variant.

Here's a link to a very large pdf of Moushmov's 1912 book. It's in Bulgarian, BTW, but if you can read Russian from before the Revolution of 1917 you can get the gist. It also shows the legends in Greek. And for all you copyright hounds, it's in the public domain. This is better than Moushmov online since it shows the obverses also. http://books.monetonos.ru/numi3mati...a%201912.pdf

I've been looking for a copy of this on line, to bad it's not in English. Still it's better than not having it. Thanks jcmworld for posting the link.
