Yes you are correct the fineness is .5 on 1.5 grams, it is a small coin with only a 12mm diameter. @Matteproof and MeadowviewCollector > thanks, I agree it is a very cool coin. I think I am going to hang on to this one. To give you an inside on what I am doing I found this site on PCGS: http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/sho...aspx?sc=1503 It lists the top coins with mintages less then 30K. To my surprise there are some VERY VERY rare coins and I have been finding them on ebay and other sites for next to nothing. I have sent a couple to NGC and so far all of them have come back as legit. For example I found a 1973 2 Suc MS63 Ecuadorian coin with only 35 known to exist. Pretty cool. So far I have gotten about 33% of that list. Soon I hope to have a whole set of very rare world coins. Report this Post to the Staff
