I've always had to wait like 10+ days for funds to clear in PP once the item was paid for, but now I see that as soon as the buyer pays the funds are available - and it no longer estimates when they are available on the bottom of the sold listing either. When did they start this? It has to be within the last week or two! Good for them! I always thought it ridiculous that my funds are deducted immediately but I usually have to wait for almost two weeks for "I guess the return period" to get paid the other side. They get the funds immediately, they should have always paid them out as well. That's why they have your CC on file - to reverse if returns happen!

When did you start selling regularly? I believe any sales within 90 days of your first sale will have the two week hold on them. Once you have passed the probation period you receive the money immediately.

Started selling 3 years ago so it isn't a 90 day thing. Maybe I passed some milestone I was unaware of. I thought maybe it was a global change - probably not.

If my memory serves me right,I had to wait just short of 90 days when I first started to sell. it would be 14 days or more but once tracking showed delivered it was released in 2-3 days. Now it is all instant. there may heave been a dollar threshold you reached? I can only guess since I don't know how often you sell.

I never experienced any ebay delay in crediting my PayPal account with funds as a seller ... In my case I started selling after many years of ebay history and over 500 positive buyer feedback ... perhaps that matters? David

Now I'm confused. I've been selling on ebay for 6 years. And for those six years once someone buys something and sends it to paypal, I have to manually make a withdrawal from my paypal account to my "verified" account. And after two working days my money is in there. I just asked another dealer and he said the same thing. That it takes two "business" days for the money to go from my paypal account to my bank account. Are you guys saying that the money is instantly in your bank account? I just called two other dealers and they say the same thing that I said. Two biz days..so what gives?

Is this not down to your bank? Certainly as soon as I withdraw to my bank account the money is there and can be drawn upon. Though this is in the UK. Maybe it's different in the US?

It's still 21 days for em as I started selling 2 weeks ago. But I sold 4 out of 5 coins immediately and they are all on the way to the buyer. Not sure how long it'll be before I start getting funds immediately available.

I'm a bit confused too. If a buyer pays via Paypal with a credit card, the money is in Paypal immediately, but NOT available for me to withdraw for a week or so. If the buyer pays with an instant bank transfer via Paypal, the money is in my Paypal account and available to me immediately. I haven't sold anything very recently, but would be surprised if credit card paypal transaction money would be available immediately. Can you say, "come and get it scammers..free money!."

Because of the large number of beginner sellers ripping off buyers and paypal not being able to get the money back from the seller to give to buyer and the refund was coming out of paypal funds paypal put in a time limit before funds become available about 2 years ago now.
So after the time that the buyer was untitled to receive a refund was how long your funds were tied up for and after the 1st month of this rule for us it change back to paypal funds become available again as normal.
