Went back and forth on this last night
Did I let the deal of the day whizz right by me?

It is hard to tell from the pictures if this is a silver 5oz coin and the description doesn't state it either.

Seller claims it was a 5oz ATB. IMO you should've taken the chance and if it was just a regular quarter you could justcreturn the coin. Seller is reputable so it shouldn't be a problem. Still hard to think why this ended up selling for so little if it was genuine.

The very, very clean surfaces and the overall look of it points to
a genuine 5-ounce.
How did it sell for such a low price......?
That was a big bargain.

That's what I was going back and forth on.
Then I see they sold another at the same time that was stuck at $23 forever, then hammered at $112
oh well, at least I got the brand new Dansco I wanted for under $14 shipped. It was still a good night!!

It has to be the 5 ouncer, right. If it were any other quarter, there would be a mintmark.

Seller also listed it as "First Strike" and it's not in a slab

Weird auction....does say 5 ounce so returns are covered....I do agree with the mint mark comment

Seller will probably cancel the sale as "mistake in the listing"

It's a 5oz.

You can see the edge lettering at 6 o'clock (vs reeding)

If ti was a standard quarter as others pointed out there would be a mintmark.

If they send it it was a good score.

A few months ago I saw a Cheerios dollar sell buy it now for $16. Still, this was a pretty good deal.

5 oz, ever see a quarter that COMPLETELY filled a flip? (Might work if you could find a 1X1 flip.)

And as mentioned I believe the only ATB Quarter that doesn't have a mintmark is the 5 oz bullion coin.

IMO this coin didn't sell at auction. Looks to me like the seller ended it early, probably had an offer to buy it outright.
