I've hunted my small yard repeatedly since I got my Ace 250 back in January 2012. My house was built in 1932. I thought it was hunted out, but so far this year I've found a 1924, 1925-D and 1946-D Lincoln and my wife dug up the 1905-O Barber quarter.

I had my detector out on Monday and was swinging it under the bushes right by the doorway when I dug up this nice 1937 Buffalo nickel. Fortunately, the soil here in SE Wisconsin is very kind to coins.

That's pretty cool, especially since it was found at your own house! You're right the soil has been kind. A Bold, Readable date and no corrosion. What else could you ask for, well aside from a 1937-D 3 Legger
