Dug out the Tesoro Bandido that I had bought about 25 years ago not long back. Have been hitting it pretty hard lately.

I found one of the mercs and the silver Roosevelt at our local searched out park, along with the silver ring. The other merc I found at a searched out church campgrounds. So much for "searched out". The 2 bits has the last three digits of the date, its a 1794, and was found in front of the 3rd base dugout at a local softball field.

All waiting to be cleaned. That pile is around 2 inches deep in places. It basically fills a 52 oz Planters peanut can, which is the same size as a large coffee can. While stowing it all back in the can this morning, I decided to count the quarters (161 clad quarters), and dug out the following:

This didn't come out of the ground with that nice white silver flash. I have no idea which of my trips in the last 6 weeks I have found it on. Nor which location it was at. Makes me wonder what else is in the can. I knew the sterling St. Christopher medal was in there, and I know there are a few wheaties scattered in there, but what else? I guess I get the thrill of the search a second time.

Went out for a little bit again today, but had equipment malfunctions. Either my headphones or the jack is messed up. Found a few coins but had to do it with no headphones and that just doesn't work well. Then my britches split. Not wanting the whole world to discover my treasure, I headed to the house. Time for new jeans and a new detector.
Rest in Peace

Ah the benefits of living in the US. Its funny how on utube no one knows what to believe, those videos of people pulling out coin stashes of capped bust this and seated that. Keep on doing what your doing, its good for you and the enviroment also, that pile must of taken a while to dig up.
