What do you all think of this? I was just looking and trying to look at grading.

I would be inclined to say VF-35 or XF40 at most. Probably tag it with details as well.

First off, that is a Half Cent if you were not aware of that.

I think it is a nice EF-45, which potentially may have been cleaned. However, the color could just be an honest brown. I'll let some of the other experts decide for certain.

TypeCoin, I did know it was a Half Cent. Can't believe I messed that up. I knew that I just was looking at a bunch of things and typed it wrong.

I was wondering about cleaning. I thought it might have been cleaned once a long time ago but we'll wait to see the experts.

XF - Needs an acetone bath for starters. A little light in color, may have been cleaned. Why get this one when you can get a XF slabbed by a reputable TPG for only a little bit more?

Was not looking to buy. Just a bit of grading and with the crud on it I wasn't sure and not too good with the older cents and Half Cents.
