Ok so recently I decided to go threw some rolls I've had for a while. While I was going threw my first roll I found this 1900 Indian Head cent. When I looked at the head I saw something was off so I put it under some light and saw it had a big hole in the middle but there is nothing on the reverse. I personaly think it is just something that happened after the minting process but I am no professional so I can not say one thing or another. So I figured I would post a picture on here and see what you can tell me. Now I will tell you this recently I had my condo burnt down by my neighbor so I do not have a good camera anymore or anything to take a good picture with. So I took the best pictures I could with my cheap smart phone. I hope they are not to bad. Well I appreciate any type of feedback you can give me. Thank you.

Looks like someone decided to drill a hole in this coin so his daughter could wear it on a necklace. Halfway through the painstaking process, his daughter came to his workbench and told him that she had changed her mind and wanted a half dollar on her necklace instead. Upset and angered at his daughter's apathy towards his hard work and willingness to put her family into poverty, the father took every coin in the house and bought a cheap horse with them. With no previous riding experience, the daughter got on and raced the horse at full speed, right into the broad side of the barn, which was painted red so no one could miss it. Then everyone lived happily ever after. The End!
If you can't tell, I'm in a good mood today.
By the way, your pictures are fine and get the point across. I highly doubt the above scenario to be accurate, but, simply put, what you are seeing on your coin is post mint damage.

It looks like it has been plinked off the top of a fence post with a .177 cal. lead air rifle pellet. I'd say PMD too.

Well it's definitely PMD and not worth much I'm afraid. Cool find though.

TypeCoin971793's response is more entertaining than the shot-up Indian Head cent. I'm glad you were in a good mood today!

Definitely PMD, and based on the marks on the front, it probably was a drill. If it were a bullet strike, you would expect some minor bending or flattening on the reverse.

Yeah.. I would agree with it being done by a drill and just never finished.
