XF45. Are those scratches on the slab or the coin?

Interesting surfaces. I'm wavering between a technical 40/45, and the thought that the clasp might have been tooled. The oval is - to me - too sharp for the level of detail around it.

Am I right that this is O-101a? since it has the die crack on the left facing wing.

I would say 45, pretty nice strike on this one.

I'm at a minimum of 45 with quite a lot of luster hugging the devices. The clasp looks fine to me, so I'll say problem free. Nice coin.

Interesting surfaces.

I'm not sure what would make the surfaces of the coin "rough" like this. I would probably guess some environmental (buried in the ground) contact for a while and then cleaned.

EF-40 overall grade for me with the corrosion/cleaned caveat.

Definitely an O-101a/R1, Large Letters.
