Needed to read the Rules..... I've got a few years under my belt dealing with currency. I hope to add to some of the discussions here. There seems to be quite a bit of activity so I will enjoy participating. I've been around ebay on and off almost when ebay started. If there are any questions for me... I'm here. Vinny

If you check the PMG registry, I have the finest 1899 $2 set listed there. However, The problem is I can't list all the notes. I have the finest for all blocks, 14 notes.

I have quite a bit of experience in Large type notes and the grading services that grade them. I have submitted thousands of notes to each of the two grading services PMG and PCGS.
In a prior life I had the finest Walker set 33 to 47 PCGS and it is still in the registry. Number 2 now. Since I sold it someone cracked out one or two and got upgrades. That was the only way that set could be beat.

to the community Glad to have you here with your knowledge of large size notes. I have about 10 large size notes; my only large size $2 is from 1917 and is missing a corner. -MV

I posted this in another post but I wanted to add this to my original post. This is one of 14, all blocks, finest PMG for each FR and block. I stumbled into half of them accidently.

Here is a friend of mine, a dealer letting me display this finest known 1890 $2; only 44 known and this is tops. Currency is cheap compared to coins.

The thread you had posted the $2 1899 Silver Certificate image, was Project 25k, where we are trying to get $2 notes in circulation. I removed your post from that thread.

Is that Grant on the 1890 note? Or which U.S. general?
Really valued @ $80,000 ?

4:00 AM and I'm off to Long Beach for a show. I'll post a few more notes when I return Sunday evening or Monday.

Back from Long Beach with a few rarer notes to show. This is an FR 78. Only 40 known and this is the finest PMG graded note.
