I'm seeing flat shelf like machine damage. It is reducing the size of the devices. Sorry

Went to variety vista and determined the coin not only has every PUP listed its a EMDS due to the die crack in the eagles wing doesn't quite have the die crack on the obverse but its not far off perhaps a very tiny line has formed in the hair.. Fantastic coin!! I will get some much better images up

He sent me more images and I stand corrected. It is a DDO. The image here made me question it. The light and shadows made if harder to detect from the image provided. Please post the second set of images you sent to me. That makes it a lot easier to see. The glare off the fields hides the notchings on the WE and "ST" TRUST. The image here makes it look so much like Machine Doubling.

Nice find. At first I thought it was MD because R and you look shelf like. But the E in WE and the last T show a nice notch. John1

Coop, under the loop the other doubled devices come up. And its a 10x loupe. The 9 in the date is very noticeable, the end of the ribbon the J in the initials as well. And on the reverse the die crack from the you of united to the leaf is the reverse PUPfor EMDS. Using my pcgs photograde app I believe this coin is a ms64-maybe 65.. Has great obverse detail in the hair..kinda makes sense at the emds I am going to try a new lighting tool today. My current setup is really decent for proof images, but a circulation or other that a cent is tough.. I look at my lamp choices now and realize the are just to big to "shed" some light on the subject. Coin photography in itself is a art form. And this website has some artists! The funny part is my camera even tells me when I am taking a image like I just posted.. I hafta go to the local hard ware store anyway...but this is my passion and my hobby. So I wont rest until I can share what I am seeing.
