I am fairly certain that I said this in a previous thread; I contacted GSC a couple of times to inform them that their descriptions were incorrect, calling a Type I SLQ a Type II and I believe the same discrepancy with Buffalo nickels. I was received a thank you reply and was put on their blocked list so I can't even bid on their stuff if I wanted to, nor receive my messages letting them know they were incorrect, again. Buyer beware, enhanced photography at it's finest I have been told (by more than one member).

They have a huge following of buyers and most coins go for well more than they are worth in my opinion. I've read a few complaints about CCF members returning coins as they were not as represented in the auction(s).

I have bought a coin from them without a hitch. They seem to come across some nice inventory. However, they must be thin skinned since I have bought several coins from them for friends of mine that are blocked for returns etc. Must be nice to turn that much volume that you can shrink the field of buyers. nlp

The last time I offered an opinion about them, the Bad Word Filter made it look like I didn't type anything.

Enjoy their auctions if you are 100% confident that you can grade the coins based on enhanced photos. I personally stay away. David

Can't tell you more than my experience, though I would listen to the opinions of others here. They had some coins in their online store that were grossly overpriced, I offered them what they were worth, they accepted and sent me the coins. Didn't get any deal on the coins but didn't overpay either. Smooth transaction, no problems. Nice coins.

Even a novice like me can spot iffy pictures and shill bidding. They just turn me off.

I have purchased two coins from them and was happy with both.
I do think they have over-graded on some coins and noticed that they have now started to list coins without grades. They used to always be "GEM BU +++", "BU ++" and the like.
They were at 100% positive feedback but have dropped to 99.9% so they have had some recent negatives.
