Hi everyone,

I am very puzzled with this coin. I can't seem to find any information anywhere online.

Unlike the coloured coin, this one does not have the 9999 silver stamp, and it only weighs 26ish grams.

It is not the $1 variety.

Can someone please help me out? I have no clue what I am dealing with. I purchased this among many other coins.

Its not a coin. Looks like a token given away by the Colt company probably at a gun show

oh and I just thought of something...would a token have "5 dollars" on the back? looks like every other NZ coin I have but doesn't weigh the same nor does it say 9999 fine silver. And the finish looks different too from the silver coin...

Not a coin,not a token,not silver. It's not worth $5 anywhere. It's a copy of a 1 oz. silver.

I have the 1oz silver coloured coin...if this was a copy wouldn't say "1oz 9999 fine silver" like the 1oz?

It has Mesa Grande next to the date. That is the name of an American Indian Tribe in California which has been producing coins for a couple of years. I am pretty sure this is one of their coins.
