Good morning all, I have been doing some research on a coin that I have, actualyy do not know if it is a coin or probably an islamic ottoman.
At this time I have no scanner to add the picture but I will describe as :
one side has a jewish star on top and to leaf on each side in the center it is all arabic writing.
on the other side is like a big star of david Jewish but like a moroccan style it has the same handwritting and then it says 1329
I have been looking under rare coins 1329, islamic coins 1329, iran coins (because it looks similar to one of them) and many other words tryog to find this and no success.
Does anybody has an idea what kind of coin is this?
I really thank you all.
We'll keep in touch from Florida

Edit: Moved to proper forum

If you could upload a picture it might help in getting a positive identification on your coin.

Welcome to the forum, crisdelcas. I believe this question would get better responses in the dedicated World Coin Forum, so I shall be moving it there. We have a few specialists at CCF, and that's where they hang out.

I believe the coin is a Moroccan Rial. The date is by the Islamic calender. The corresponding Christian date is 1902. It is worth $100 US in uncirculated condition and $40 in extra fine. It is tough to make a grading call based on the scan, but I would think the value would be somewhere in between the two

The rial was equivalent to 10 official dirhams. The coin is 25 gr of .900 silvver, that is .7234 oz. ASW.
