I was looking through my collection today when I happend to look at a 1974 $5 note. The serial number is, I83566538A. Does this make my note worth any more? And if it does, how much is it worth?

Its hard to tell from your picture, but the note looks a little worn from circulation. With creases and stains maybe

Small photo, but it does appear to have circulated some so that will effect the value somewhat. You would definitely get more than face value if you sold it to a fancy serial collector. Hard to really give an exact price, though.
