I am aware that a fair amount of research has been done concerning this coin as well as its many varieties. Is there a single book or monograph dedicated to this coin available for purchase or viewing? What about other resources?

Also, the person on that forum has a few books out on Lincoln Cents. An interesting statement on page 93 of one of his books explains that although people believe in different die pairs, and some price guides say that too, his book states that there are no records to prove or disprove how many different varieties exist. Although he does further explain that there is much more attention to the variety with the strong reverse.
I've seen so many stories and statements about this coin I too sometimes wonder just what is real and what isn't. And too think of all the people in the past erasing that little D. For sure a coin that should not be in Albums.
