So, yesterday I received an offer of $29 for a coin on ebay. One hour later before I answer, I got a message from ebay that the offer has been retracted because "Entered wrong amount".

Allright... no big deal, mistakes happen.

And today the same user buy the same coin at the buy it now price ($35).

I don't understand

I've had a couple instances where I've placed an offer in for a coin I really wanted, then realized that the BIN price was already a pretty decent deal. So, not wanting to risk losing the coin waiting for the verdict on my offer, I went ahead and bought it at the BIN price.

Though I don't think retracting the offer is necessary in that case, it could be something similar happening here.

Yeah, I could understand, but he bought the coin at the BIN price one day after, it wasn't immediately after retracting his offer and I had two coins available so I think it wasn't a must to buy it right now.
