@AgCoinAu, the seller is currently asking 300$ for 8, but I'll try to knock down the price or even just ask for the first 4 notes. But I can't negotiate with him without knowing the value of the first four.

Okay well first.. from the photo's I really don't think all those notes are in VF... it could be just the photos but I'm pretty sure that BMO note is VG...
But I'll get you all the VF catalog prices...
1)1917 CBOC -green tint with CBN - 600
2)1923 BMO VF 150
3)Royal B of C - large sigs - VF 175
Now without doing any research on previous auctions my best guess is that top dollar you should be paying right now is 55% of catalog prices..... the chartered banknotes catalog has prices that are super inflated to what prices realized at auction..
Sorry I could give you a quick answer but I had to look it up in the guide myself I just don't know all the chartered notes that well.. I will say that these chartered notes are not uncommon and frequently do become available at auctions ...

Sadly the seller does not have any better pictures, I am going to ask hin for some better ones, but for now this is what I have.  |

Notes 1 & 2 are definetely not VF... even from those photos! So adjust the prices I gave you accordingly
