I've been looking through my wheat cents, and I came across this 1957 that looks to have split serifs. It's a candidate for an acetone bath. Other than buying pure acetone, what would work. I know nail polish remover has it in it, but I've seen what it does to coins, so not using that.

Just looking for conformation. It looks like CopperCoins: RPM-013

Not sure if there is a match on coppercoins. 041 look similar in shape, but not a match from what I can tell.

But so far I'm not sure which one it is for sure?

Yes it is. Still a nice find. I wish I had better images from the coppercoins date/mint mark area. I'll have to see if the CONECA disk has anything on this die? But that will have to be tomorrow.

The die break on the B could mean RPM-19

The location for your coin and 019 is different.

If the location is different, it is not from this die. Marker only works if it is from the attributed (The die designated by this die number) die.

I see. It was a good guess though with the die break.
