One of the first coins I purchased raw -- back in 1976. Now in a PCGS holder.

Very nice coin! EF 40 or thereabouts?
You were much more fortunate than I was with my first draped bust dollar purchase - my first, an 1801, was unfortunately cleaned.

Just wondering if you want to share what you paid in 1976 and what it's worth now? Very nice coin. John1

With the counterfeiters branching out into fake slabs in which to place their forgeries, I can understand why not showing the label with its id number would be prudent.

Wow! I think I'll obtain one of these someday... But that day isn't today, tomorrow, or in a few years. Cool that you've held on to a coin for so long.

Wow. That is a coin which I will never be able to own. I've got a Morgan set to complete.
