Was at my LCS this weekend.. a kid comes in to look for coins..
in the stack of 1979 proof sets, about 8 of them, he finds 2 Complete type II sets.

He only wanted the half.. and the penny had a spot on it.. so be broke out the coin for him.
I bought the other complete t-2 set for $50.00.

I went back home and looked at the set I had bought from them two weeks earlier... it had a type II dime, the rest were type I.

No I have the delima of returning the t-1 with a t-2 dime to have a complete t-1 set...

:)

also picked up a 1942-S MS64-Red, and my 1935 Half which I bought as a ms62 got upgraded to MS64/5. Huge difference in value apparently.

and I finally got the entire westward nickels set for around 7 bucks.
