I have a 1948 Wheat penny that looks like it was not cut out of the mold properly. Has anyone ever seen anything like this and how much is it worth? I can't upload a picture, but it is a little bigger than a nickel but has a regular sized penny cutout in the center.

I moved your thread to the error section. Like half n a half said, pictures would be great.

I looked up broadstrike and my coin doesn't look like that. I tried to upload pic but I can't. It looks like a piece of copper that has the actual penny imprint on it. A little smaller than a quarter.

Without pictures this is just going to be a guessing game.

It's not an error it's just encased in something. Usually this is done when they make a piece of jewelry using a coin as part of the design.
