1948 Wheat Penny Error? - Coin Community Forum

buggybutts1 New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 06/19/2014 9:29 pm I have a 1948 Wheat penny that looks like it was not cut out of the mold properly. Has anyone ever seen anything like this and how much is it worth? I can't upload a picture, but it is a little bigger than a nickel but has a regular sized penny cutout in the center. * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff

It looks like a piece of copper that has the actual penny imprint on it. A little smaller than a quarter. Report this Post to the Staff
