I bought 20 rolls of pennies to go through today. In the second roll I went through, I found this gem. What do you think it would grade at? It's not in bad shape at all for being 115 years old and still in circulation.

Great find.

My oldest Lincoln found is a 1910, 1911, and a few other no mintmark teens.

Thanks everybody for your positive comments. I'm still "buzzing" over finding it and I'm sort of in shock. Yeah, it wasn't a 1909-S VDB but it is still a special coin that I will always treasure and the oldest Lincoln Cent that I have found in circulation (and the oldest that I will ever find, as this is an early strike.) I have a couple 1909 VDBs that I bought off of ebay that aren't nearly this nice, and on one you can barely see the VDB. On this one, the VDB is obvious.

Pretty cool find. I'm thinking it really wasn't in circulation that long. It probably made it's way from a collection to the bank quite unintentionally.

Great roll find indeed.

Likely some collectors dump at the bank ... now in a new good home with you.
