This was found while CRH. Unlike my last 1970s SD dud, I'm 95% sure that this one is a SD.  This one is also pretty clean. What do you guys think, the real deal? Thanks for your patience with my noob questions!

That is one of the few that is a small date. Most of the ones people think might be small dates actually end up being large dates. Although the pic is a little fuzzy I would say it is a small date for sure.

Thanks guys. I was really surprised finding this one. The differences is only evident when you have two of them in hand. I recall scrutinizing over large dates for long periods of time trying to decide if they were small dates before this.

Looks like a small date to me. One telltale sign that never fails is to look at the corner were both parts of the seven come together --- a large dates (business strike or proof) have a crease that separates the two halves. All small dates lack this crease.

I have a 1970 Proof Set with a Small Date. it has more spots than a leopard.
