RPM,Grease, etc?

I couldn't figure this one out? Any comments, opinions or feedback welcome.

It has similar markers to 1946S-1MM-035... but is different..

Maybe a Greaser? The mint mark, 4 and 6 are week but the 9 appears ok.

Check out this page for Variety Vista on the 006. The ball serif mint mark style look just like your coin:

When you look at the 9 in the date, you see the same mark as the mint mark has. This makes me think it is a machine issue because it is in the same direction. Perhaps an ejection issue which is also machine damage.

The 46 weakness is noted on a lot of the 1946. Something was breaking down that year. I've seen the 19 and mint mark normal, but the last two digits weak.

I notice it says scarce for 1946. Does that mean they are worth saving?

The ball serif mint mark for this year are worth keeping. Best in uncirculated grades. Less desirable in circulated grades.

Hey all! ;) This one doesn't jump out as weird per say, but could I, as a CCF newbie, get your humble opinions? Is that a seperate D or I am wishing it to be?

You should start your own thread with better pictures. It looks like it may have a lamination. Could we see the whole coin too please? But in your own thread.

Looks more like a die chip on the 9 or damage. Not a mint mark "D".
