Sort of interesting, but hard to date as I can't find anything about the evidently defunct Watling Fruit Gum Company. It had to have been tough competing against the Wrigley juggernaut there in Chicago.

On conducting a basic internet search, I had seen the slot machine association with the Watling name, but didn't know quite what to make of that. The listing you've linked thus suggests that this token's use predates 1951.

I glanced through my tokens last night because I have some similar designs as that one. The ones I could date are from the 30's and 40's. So based off what I could find, it seems like that style was popular during the Depression/WWII years.
