1995 Doubled Die Obverse - Coin Community Forum

EI8 New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 06/26/2014 12:52 pm I just pulled this 1995 LMC from a roll. I think it matches Wexler: WDDO-001 very well. I see what I believe is doubling in LIBERTY, with the spread increasing from right to left. I also see doubling in the motto, notably the G and W. But this variety is not obvious to the novice's eye, so I'm not completely sure... Report this Post to the Staff

I've probably looked through well over 1000 1995 cents. I almost missed this one - the doubling is tough to see. At the last moment - right before I tossed it into the return bin - I decided to take a second look under magnification. I bet this one is missed on occasion. Report this Post to the Staff
